OK is actually... O.K.!

We have arrived to the most undiscovered, underestimated, and in some countries, number one tourist destination -the State of Oklahoma.  Let us tell you- it wasn't easy to get here (our buttocks have a long story to tell).

With the car tightly packed- "tight" if you know what we mean- and poor Charlotte was squeezed somewhere on the back seat, we headed out across the US.  Not until 24 hours of driving and 1600 miles on the odometer had passed did we arrive into Oklahoma City...

We are living in a fairly spacious 1-bedroom apartment on the first floor.  It is comfortable and clean. The area surrounding us, however, is full of new "urban spraul" housing developments and by annoying franchise restaurants (America at it's worst).

Our new complex provides a lot of comfort features. There is a fitness center, a pool, business center, and 24-hour french maide service! (just kidding about the last thing)

Charlotte is vey happy about being here. She even found a component (the crutial main thrust rod) of the demised shuttle "Columbia" in the endless field by our apartment complex.  Look at that!

Anyway, there is a lot of land to cover and many more discoveries to make. We have learned not to judge a place by it's name.  Oklahoma, you are the wonderfull red carpet to the South/West.  However, looks kind of deserted on the picture. Go figure...
